First day in Sevenoaks

So this morning at 6:45 Sonia and I were woken up to a phone call from Andrew wondering where we were and why we hadn't picked him up from the airport (as his flight had landed at 5am). This was due to a misunderstanding of some sort and communication hadn't been great, as we were expecting him to catch a bus to our hotel. So anyway, Sonia hurriedly dressed and left for the airport to pick up Andrew - who was surprisingly un-grumpy for someone who had just waited for over an hour :). So after breakfast at the hotel, we drove in to Sevenoaks, it is such a cute and quaint place, much larger than I was expecting with heaps of shops everywhere. After unpacking etc we went for a walk around and found a coffee shop before taking a look around the shops and buying food for dinner at Waitrose. As soon as we got home at about 1, I went out for my first run since Monday, it was really nice and the streets around Sevenoaks are really pretty with cool sights to see :). After a quick lunch we drove in to Blue water, a enormous shopping centre, it has 12,000 car parks and what seemed like millions of shops, incomparable to places like west city, not a $2 shop in sight! In this shopping trip, Andrew was trying to find me a dress... He has some interesting ideas of what clothes look like, but the trip was very fun and enjoyable :).
So today was a very relaxing and chilled day, tomorrow we are going to Alyn at the Westbury for dinner, very excited about that :). Glad to hear that the production went well, you can all relax a bit more :).

Sounds like a beautiful place. Still wish you were here. Although the kids do seem much better behaved this time...hmmmm.
Love you,

Hee hee! I was reading your post out loud to Jayna and when she heard me read "we drove in to Blue Water" she said - "They drove in the water? Was it a submarine car??" :) Sandra xx
