Edinburgh to Manchester

Today was travelling back home, part one...todays weather started off not so nice, rainy and overcast, but as we neared manchester, the weather began to clear up. Yay! The driver on this trip was nice and calm, no rushed braking or sudden accelerations, and after having coffee this morning I couldn't sleep very easily so it was a good thing that the drive was comfortable :). So after driving for 4 hours, we arrived in manchester and got ready to go out to an italian restaurant with some of Andrew and Sonias old workmates who live in wilmslow. It was a very nice evening out, although very early-the booking was at 5:30 because both other couples have young kids. So by 7:30 it was all over and we went for a bit of a drive, found Andrew and Sonias old house in Wilmslow. It looks very cool-old style and really nice. Then we dropped into tescos and marks and spencers to kill some time. So overall, whaat could have been a VERY boring day, turned out to be mildly interesting :). It was again, nice just spending time with Sonia and Andrew :). Tomorrow we complete the last part of our journey, we will soon be back in Sevenoaks once again!
