Day 6: Disney Land!!!!

Hi all. Well Yesterday was Disney land day, it was so fun, unfortunately it was raining all day although it eased off in the middle part of the day.
We started our day at around 7:30 when we got up and started getting ready. We then went by train to Disney Land. When we arrived we bought our tickets and went into a small shop, it had all sorts of things, unfortunately as Halloween coming up most things were Halloween themed. We had gone in to find a raincoat for me as we had only brought 1 umbrella and it wasn't really big enough for the two of us. We had seen some people wearing a mickey mouse rain coat which was very cool but when we looked at the price we saw that it was 2,300 yen which is equivalent to about $38. So instead we picked up a plain raincoat for 500 yen, equivalent to $8. As we started around the park we saw heaps of rides, the first one we went on was the tea cups, there were lots of little tea cups that went round in a circle and as fast as you spun the round knob in the middle the faster you spun around, this ride was really fun and made me quite dizzy while I was on it.
Next we headed over to Its a small world, this was very cool with different figures in costumes for the different countries of the world.

After lots more rides we headed over to the roller coaster, it was a tall rocky mountain shaped track with lots of twists and turns, luckily no loops or quick stops.
I almost lost my camera as I had taken it off from around my neck when it started and had it in my hand, as there were many ups and downs and sharp corners I was extremely scared that it would fall out of my hand and I would never get it back. Luckily I told Sonia and at the next big up hill where it went slowly she grabbed it and flung it around her neck just before it started down the hill again, I am sure that if she hadn't put it around her neck I would no longer have my camera.

At one stage during our time in Disney land we went up a tree house thing that was modeled to look like the Swiss Family Robinson tree home, it was an excellent model and very big. After quite a few rides such as a log flume sort of thing and more. We then went to tomorrow land for we had seen that there was a show on, called Walt Disney One mans dream we had thought that after the last shown which was performed by bears and was spoken mostly in Japanese that this too would be a speaking and in Japanese but we had decided that we would go any way. As it turned out there was no speaking at all and was just Walt Disney songs and acting out famous scenes of fairy tales like snow white, sleeping beauty, Cinderella and things like that. It was very cool and made it to near the top of our favorites list. After this we went to look for someplace to go for dinner and to warm up our frozen bodies. We found a Italian sort of eating place while we waited until 7:30 which was when the electric parade was due to start. So after dinner we went started to head out to the train which went inside the park and around some of the themed places, Sonia got the idea to check on a nearby
notice board to check that the parade hadn't been
canceled, probably due to rain if it was,
it was a good thing that we did check because it was canceled and we would have been standing out in the rain for a while if we hadn't.
We left the park and headed home ready for a good nights sleep after very tiring day.
