Minigolf and Jousting

Welcome to my new blog.
Here you will learn lots about me and my wonderful life.

To start I will write about my holiday in Rotorua.

My favourite thing about Rotorua was that we got to play 2 different minigolf courses.

Here is a photo of the first minigolf.

This minigolf had no sides, just sand and gardens.
It was very frustrating at times but lots of fun.

The second minigolf was a lot easier and everyone got a hole in one..... except Mummy.

On our way home we stopped at Taupo ( which isn't really on the way at all) .
We went to another Minigolf, but the best part was that we got to go to a Medieval Festival that was happening.

There were people on horses and they had to chop apples, pick up rings with a long spear, shoot a pig (pretend) with a bow and arrow and other cool stuff.

We also saw them doing Jousting where they scored points for hitting the other person with their jousting stick. They had real armor that weighed about 30kg.

It sounds like you had a great trip. The festival does seem like the highlight. I've never seen anyone jousting before. I can imagine it would be fun to be right there. The picture was really cool. -T

What a great blogsite! Keep up the adventures, and keep recording them for our entertainment. P.S. If you had have been alive a few hundred years back you would have made a very elegant and noble Medieval Lady.
